2001: Preliminary assessment by NAR found “fractured” and “primitive” real-estate community, no licensing or MLS, professional standards only being promoted through Indiaproperties.com, a for-profit listing, and a lack of government support in recognizing real-estate “industry”
2002: NAR bilateral partner with newly formed association, India Institute of Real Estate (IIRE) ICREA Board As part of the commitment made to IndiaProperties Institute of Real Estate, IRPF/NAR assisted in the creation of the India Institute of Real Estate (IIRE), a non-profit real estate trade association, open to all Indian real estate professional who meet the membership standards. Mission to assist with formation of a new association business plan.
2003: NAR and IRPF focus on reviewing a business plan for IIRE and giving a workshop on Association Staff and Leadership relationship. IRPF exploring funding possibilities within USAID.
2004: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between GLC (Government Law College) and IIRE signed. GLC to teach GRI/Procedures & Practices of Real Estate Training courses proposed to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and KC College
2006: Assessment of real-estate private practices and collateral services Local associations and professionals agree to cooperate in creation of national federation of real estate associations
2007: National Association of Realtors of India (NAR-India) launched, Protocol with IRPF signed
2008: NAR-India shows rapid progress in membership and association structure, Protocol signed with seven regional associations.
2009: Brokerage and Sales Training conducted in Pune, Delhi, and Bangalore IVS Course delivered in Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai
2010: Business seminars conducted in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai in conjunction with NAR-India's 2nd annual conference
2011: EVP hired, Leadership training conducted in Hyderabad in conjunction with NAR-India's 3rd annual conference
2012: NAR-India 4th annual conference in Mumbai
2013: NAR-India 5th annual conference in Delhi
2014: Institutional Capacity and Leadership Training hosted in Mumbai, Ahmadabad and Bangalore
2015: Real Estate and Brokerage Training conducted in Mumbai and Bangalore
